Dr. Salvatore Mondello, Professor Emeritus Rochester Institute of Technology, has a PhD in history from New York University. Dr. Mondello is author of many scholarly articles and books including The Italian Americans: Third Edition which he co-authored with Luciano J. Iorizzo and which was published on February 28, 2006.

Dr. Mondello is also author of the highly acclaimed A Sicilian in East Harlem which has established him as a leader in the creative non-fiction genre.
