William R. Dalessio holds a PhD and an MA., both in English, from the University of Connecticut, and a BA. in English from Rhode Island College. He has published chapters and articles on identity, ethnicity, and gender in several anthologies and journals, including Studies in the Humanities, a/b: Auto/Biography Studies, and The Southern Quarterly. Dr. Dalessio teaches courses in literature, composition, and cultural studies.
