About Toby Davidson

Toby Davidson is a lecturer in Australian literature at Macquarie University. He is the editor of Francis Webb’s Collected Poems (University of Western Australia Publishing, 2011) and founding editor of New Scholar: An International Journal of the Humanities, Creative Arts and Social Sciences. He has published in journals such as Literature and Theology, Antipodes: A Global Journal of Australian/New Zealand Literature, Journal of Australian Studies, JASAL, Westerly, Island, Colloquium, Australian Book Review and contributed book chapters and reference works to Literary Melbourne (Hardie Grant, 2009), The Oxford Companion to Modern Poetry, Contemporary Literary Criticism, and Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism. His debut poetry collection Beast Language was released by Five Islands Press in 2012.
