About Alison Groppe

Alison M. Groppe is an assistant professor of Chinese literature in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Oregon. She holds a PhD and an MA from Harvard University and a BA from Wellesley College. Dr. Groppeā€™s areas of interest include modern Chinese and Sinophone literature, film, and popular culture, as well as theories of the Sinophone, postcolonialism, transnationalism, and popular culture.
