About Elisa Bordin

Elisa Bordin teaches American literature at University of Padua and University of Trieste, Italy. She holds a PhD from University of Verona. Her previous publications include Masculinity and Westerns: Regenerations at the Turn of the Millennium and several articles on African American cinema and literature, Italian American literature, Italian translations of Chicano literature, American language policies, and graffiti.

About Anna Scacchi

Anna Scacchi teaches American literature at University of Padua, Italy. She holds a PhD in American Studies from University of Rome “La Sapienza.” She has published extensively on US language politics, children’s literature, nineteenth-century women writers, race and language, African American neo-slave narratives and utopian literature. Her publications include Public Space, Private Lives, La babele americana ,Recharting the Black Atlantic, and Parlare di razza.
