About Timothy Conley

Timothy Conley is an associate professor of English at Bradley University. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from St. Louis University. Dr. Conley has twice served as Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of Vienna and once as Fulbright Scholar at the University of Sarajevo and has delivered lectures and conference presentations in Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Graz, and Klagenfurt. Since 2006 he has directed the University’s Study Abroad Program in Vienna. Dr. Conley’s previous publications include Race, Gender, and an American Campus, The University as Learning Community, and articles on Benjamin Franklin, William Bartram, Hector St. Jean de Crèvecouer,William Faulkner, the disciplines of American Literature and American Studies, and the institutional history and formation of the university.
