Dr. Jack Kitaeff is a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia specializing in forensic and police psychology. He graduated from the City University of New York. His psychology education includes an MS degree in experimental psychology from the State University of New York and a PhD from the University of Mississippi. He completed a clinical psychology internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and a residency in psychology at U.S. Dewitt Army Hospital. He served as a psychologist and Major in the United States Army. His legal education includes a JD degree from the George Mason University School of Law and a legal clerkship with the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Virginia.

Dr. Kitaeff’s private practice concentrates on consulting with police and sheriff departments conducting pre-employment psychological screening of law enforcement applicants, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and psychological profiling. He enjoys teaching and writing about psychology and the law, and has edited a book on Forensic Psychology. He is an adjunct professor of psychology with the University of Maryland, and serves on the faculty of the Washington Center as well. He has appeared on several television and radio programs.
