Catherine Tite is an assistant professor of history of art at Luther College, Canada. She is a specialist in eighteenth-century British art and art theory. Her publications include articles for Anglia, Transactions of the Romney Society, and the British Art Journal. She is editor of Working at Court: Patronage in Eighteenth-Century Germany, a forthcoming collection of essays.
